In the framework of the REAL DEAL, a Horizon 2020 project, SOLIDAR, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) and SDG Watch Europe are organising the Civil Society Forum for Sustainability: Shaping the European Green Deal, a space for civil society organisations from across Europe to come together and exchange views on the European Green Deal (EGD), the EU's strategy to strategy to make Europe climate-neutral by 2050.

objective of the third forum is to discuss and establish the role that civil society can play in monitoring the SDGs as part of the European Voluntary Review for 2023, through an interactive discussion with participants and high-level speakers. Moreover, the forum aims to engage participants in a broader interactive discussion on assessing the progress of the EGD and SDGs. The outcomes of the meetings will be compiled into a report that will be shared with relevant policymakers, such as relevant DGs in the European Commission, MEPs and EP Committees, Permanent Representations to the EU and more.

Further information about the third forum, including a draft agenda of the meeting, will be available soon on the REAL DEAL website, alongside the websites of project partner's.

Does your organisation work on the areas covered by the Forum? Are you interested in attending this meeting?

If so, please register using the following link by latest Friday, 13 January 2023.
